Ginger's Parenting Page

I don't know what to say about myself.  Where should I start?  
I am a SWF that is 27 year old as of today (Dec 10)!!!  I have strawberry blonde hair, am 5'3", 
weigh 120 lbs., and my eyes are green/blue in color.  I work as a
secretary for Lockheed Martin in Maryland.  I love my job.  I have 
two small children, a son that is almost 4 years old and a daughter 
that is 11 months old.  I have been a single parent for about 22 
months, and am currently single.

I like all kinds of things; music (with the exception of heavy metal, 
rap, and jazz) however I especially like country music.  I like all 
kinds of movies (especially Nick Cage).  I love beaches and warm 
weather.  I like good food (such as italian, mexican, chinese).  I 
enjoy spending time with my kids, enjoying quiet times, and spending
time outdoors.  I don't like the cold at all.  I also like to travel.   
I spent 14 months in Germany in 1992-1993.  Europe is so beautiful.  
I hope to go back one day in the future for an extended vacation.

I am looking for friends that are sincere, and don't play head 
games.  Good friends are hard to come by.  I would expecially be 
interested in hearing how other single parents (men and women alike) 
view parenting issues, such as care, discipline, nutrition, special 
outings and those little secret "helpers" that all parents have.  I 
love my kids dearly, they are my whole world and there is nothing 
that I would not do for them.  

If you are a parent, single or not, please write me and let me know 
how you do it, because I know it is a difficult job, and everybody 
needs some sort of emotional support or encouragement from time to 
time.
